Hi! I’m Ellen, the heart and hands behind Ellen’s Dog Grooming, a dog grooming studio where every pup is treated like family. I started this business with a simple goal: to create a calm, safe, and genuinely caring grooming experience that brings out each dog’s unique beauty and personality.

My Story

I’ve always been that person who says hi to every dog on the block. After years of working in manufacturing, I decided to follow my dreams, completing a qualification in breed-standard cuts, coat care, and low-stress handling, I opened Ellen’s Dog Grooming to offer a more personal, one-on-one approach. Here, it’s never about rushing—it's about trust, comfort, and great results.

Bath & Brush

Treat your best buddy to a freshen-up! My Bath & Brush gives your dog a gentle, full-body wash with pet-safe shampoo and conditioner picked for their coat and skin, complete with a cozy blow-dry to keep tangles at bay.

Also includes clean ears and tidy paws so they’re looking and feeling their best. It’s the perfect in-between-grooms service—your pup leaves soft, shiny, great-smelling, and totally cuddle-ready.

Full Groom

FROM £50

Keep your dog clean, comfortable, and well-styled with my Full Groom service.

  • Warm bath with premium, pet-safe shampoo and conditioner suited to your dog’s coat and skin

  • Blow-dry and thorough brush-out to remove loose hair, reduce shedding, and prevent mats

  • Breed-standard or owner-requested haircut for a polished, tidy look

  • Nail trim, ear cleaning, sanitary tidy, and paw pad trim for comfort and hygiene

  • Finishing touch: light cologne and an optional bow or bandana

Ideal for regular maintenance and overall coat health, this service helps your dog look their best and stay comfortable between appointments. Book to maintain a clean, professional finish from nose to tail.

PRICES ARE FROM and can change depending on coat condition and dog behaviour.

Add On Services

  • De-shedding Treatment: Deep de-shed bath + blowout to reduce shedding.

  • Deep Conditioning: Hydrates dry/itchy skin and adds shine.

  • Medicated/Flea Bath: For sensitive skin or to remove pests.

  • Pawdicure Upgrade: add a paw balm to your groom to make your dogs paws soft and smooth.

  • Puppy Intro or Senior Comfort: Extra-gentle handling and breaks.

  • Creative Color/Show Finish/Hand Stripping: By request, breed-dependent.
